Poker tournament??

Posted by Ask Me Your Name at: 2008-03-17 03:56:48
I usually do really well in any tournament I register and even won or get real deep in the tournament with atleast 100 to 200 bb considering I just started playing less than 2 weeks online, my question is I always do well when I play 2 at a time but at soon as I try for more than 2 then I end up lose all of them even when Im the chips leader and hasn't been manage to cash out any of them because I time limit are my problem and I couldn't request more time to think or sometime I have the best pre flop and my time is running out before I get a chance to re act because I was on the other tables. What should I do to improve on this or should I just stick to 2 at a time and focus really hard, PLEASE help me with your advice and opinion, I feel really stupid and on hug tilt because I couldn't finish in the money or win when I know that I should, so many hours I invested and end up beating myself for it because of this. Thank you for reading this and I greatly appreciated all your reply:)

How do you have the tables formatted on your screen? Can you see each table or is one table covering another one? Try shrinking your table screens so they can all be seen on the computer screen. If that is not your issue I suggest sticking with only 2 tables at the same time.

Ok Its gonna take time if you want to do more than two tables at once. Keep practicing, play alot of position instead of your cards and focus on one table on a big hand and sit out the others. If you have only been playing for two weeks you should really be concentrating on reading a book on your off time and referencing it to how you play. Read: "Phil Gordon's Little Green book (TM)" Along with playing it will help you gain insight to how others play and make your decision making process that much quicker I can do about 5-6 tables fairly comfortably it will take time too Good Luck.

Stick to 1 or 2. Mutli-tabling can lead to bigger profits if you can handle them, but if you can't you'll lose every time.
