is online poker random in its card dealing? i keep getting awesome hands online, but also keep getting beaten by someone getting lucky on the river card. when i play for real good hands are very rare.

I lately have become very skeptacal as to the ramdomness of online poker, I have closed all my accounts at numerous online sitesit is just sad to see people calling your raises w/ j7 when you make a good sized raise w/ queens pre flop then they hit runner runner on turn and river for a flush when the river gives you a setthe only card where you could lose money came on the riverafter that happening about 4 times yesterday I became very aware that the technology is catching up with the online poker industry.

Well i do now that windows xp does have a random number bug that will not be corrected till sp3 patch is released. So that could be one reason you guys never get a good hand at poker

Think of this. All online games are against a computer so for that reason it will know your hand. You can't beat it so leave it alone.

It really isn't random at all. If you want to play poker go to a casino at least you can see who is cheating.

What you say is very true. I play online poker everyday, and NEVER do you see so many good hands in real games or even on tv for that matter. I think that the online sites intentionally set up cards so that the good hands but heads. Either so you will buy more play money chips or add more real money to your account. But, that IS just my opinion.
