Chrstmas Shopping Party Ideas - Help?
I am having a huge "We are all way to lazy to do regular Christmas shopping" party soon with all kinds of different things (we start at noon with an in home wine tasting!) and I'd like to have pampered chef, but one of my conditions, as a promise to all of my guests, is that everything available at the party will be shipped directly to them. Does anyone know if orders from a pampered chef party are shipped directly to each customer or is the entire party's order shipped to the host or consultant? Jewelry lady will be there, so will Body Shop and possibly pampered chef. I'm being kind of a Nazi with the consultants because I'm not letting anyone do any presentations, just set their stuff up and be there to answer questions. I'm also thinking of poker in another room with cool poker set's I found cheap online and a bunch of websites up that I have researched for shipping and reliability (NFL.com, Home Depot.com) with stuff for the guys Anyone got ideas or ever tried this before? This just grew into an awesome solidified idea - 4 areas. Kitchen - Food and Wine central Wine Tasting (Wine Shop at Home) Gourmet Munchies (Tastefully Simple, great idea!) Possibly kitchenware (Pampered Chef) Great Room - Testosterone Central (w/ several laptops set up for internet purchasing) Poker Game (w/ set's available online) Football on TV (and a bunch of NFL.com catalog's) Master Bed / Bath - Estrogen Central Lit w/ Candles (Party Lite) Facials and Foot Soaks (The Body Shop at Home) Jewelry everywhere (Park Lane) Patio - Smoke Central Humidors, Cigar, pipe and hookah products in catalogs (I'm not buying them to put out, thank you - but I'll let the smokers browse for ideas and buy online)
Great ideas girl YOU should be a party planner for the holidays Hottttttt Doggggggggggg
There is a company where I live that organizes and produces these kinds of events, called Boutique for the Soul. Visit their web site at www.boutique4thesoul.com to either book one of those or get ideas on producing your own version. Basically, the facilitator charges a fee to each vendor, and part of that fee pays for promotion, part pays for catering, and part covers the facilitator's time. Its like a little in-home trade show - and TONS of fun! :)
This is a great idea. I would call a local consultant (go to pamperedchef.com) to see if they'll ship direct. If they want the sales, they should. My friends and I always do combined parties. A good one to have as well is Tastefully Simplethis way the appetizers for your party are all part of the sampling of the product. Usually, the Tastefully Simple people bring the stock with them so people can buy things and take them with them immediately. It's a good gift to pair up with the pampered chef stuff too. Good lucksounds like fun! By the way, at combined parties, you are on the right trackno product presentations. The people who would normally present can mingle with the guests and tell them about their products informally.
